The university appointed its first reference libararian, Mary Dunham, in 1908. The 21 reference providers pictured here - only a handful of the librarians, staff, and students who answer questions daily - marked the centennial in the Wells Library. They have combined 355 years of experience. That's a lot of brainpower.
