Ethnologue: Languages of the World - 13th ed., 1996, by Summer Institute of Linguistics. It includes a catalogue of more than 6,700 languages spoken in 228 countries.

Eurodicautom - Originally the multilingual terminological database of the European Commission's Translation Service, Eurodicautom contains about 5.5 million entries (terms and abbreviations) in 12 langauges. Eurodicautom covers a broad spectrum of human knowledge, but is particularly rich in technical and specialised terminology (agriculture, telecommunications, transport, legislation, finance) related to EU policy.
