Library Resources on the Web: What's New? What Should I Use?
Most library services and many scholarly resources are available on the web, accessible from home, office or off-campus. Last semester brought the debut of a new library web site. It features sections called Resource Gateway, Services, and Subjects. The Search box is a great shortcut! We will highlight some of the resources (journal and newspaper indexes, electronic journals) and services (Search with a Guide, Request Article Delivery and Request Delivery services, etc.) that we think you will find most helpful. Also intended as an overview for new faculty and graduate students. Instructor(s): Mary Popp.

Publications like Journals of the Continental Congress, maps of the Battles during the Civil War, American State Papers, HUAC hearings, State Department telegrams, and Census data are now being referred to as the “legacy collection” because more and more are being digitized and made available electronically.
