Aluka website launched at www.aluka.org
Aluka is a not-for-profit initiative with a mission to create a
sustainable digital library of scholarly resources from and about the
developing world, beginning in Africa, as an aid for research and
teaching worldwide.
Content areas include African Plants, African Cultural Heritage Sites and Landscapes, and Struggles for Freedom in Southern Africa. The website contains a broad range of information about Aluka and its forthcoming digital library, which is expected to be made available in early 2007.
