From the Africa Resource Center, this user-friendly Web site covers various topics related to Africa and
the African diaspora. Sections of this site are dedicated to e-journals, lists of authors and published
works, African art, and poetry.

South of the Sahara: Selected Internet Resources
This guide to Africana on the internet, developed by Karen Fung for
the Electronic Technology Group of the African Studies Association, provides
an excellent gateway to Africana information. The site is searchable by
topic, country, or keyword/phrase.
The African Publishing Companion
This site contains two sources: The African Publishing Companion: A Resource Guide and
Directory. Both are also available in print.
African Studies
World Wide Web
This gateway to internet resources is edited by Ali B. ali-Dinar, Ph.D.
and supported by the African Studies Center at the University of Pennsylvania.
It offers links to the African Studies Association (ASA)
and the Council for
the Development of Social Science Research in Africa (CODESRIA), as well
as many others. Browse by subject area or search using keywords.
Center for African Studies at the
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
This site provides access to a variety of useful resources, including
the CODESRIA site, a variety of electronic journals, some
Africana library collections in the U.S. and Europe, and international
news sources. The library page also
provides additional access to many resources.
Columbia
University: Area Studies: African Studies Internet Resources
This site, developed by Joseph Caruso, African Studies Librarian at
Columbia, provides access to online journals and newspapers from or about
Africa, an international directory to African studies scholars, and some
Africana library collections in the U.S., Europe, and southern Africa.
You can search the site by keywords or browse by subject or country.
Electronic
Journal of Africana Bibliography
EJAB is a refereed online journal of bibliographies published by the
University of Iowa Libraries. Coverage includes any aspect of Africa,
its peoples, their homes, cities, towns, districts, states, countries,
regions, including social and economic development, creative literature,
the arts, and the Diaspora.
French
Resources: Afrique / Africa Part of the Indiana University Library
reference department page on French resources, this site contains several
useful links,
including two that allow access to online versions of various African newspapers.
It also contains a link to Afrique
Francophone, an extensive gateway of links concerning
francophone
Africa created by the Languages and Literature department of Lehman College
at the City University of New York.
H-Africa Network Homepage
An important international interdisciplinary electronic discussion group, H-Africa's homepage links to current and past discussion threads and forums; conference announcements; archival collections in the U.S., Europe, and Africa; lists of recent Africana dissertations; tables of contents of Africana journals; book, exhibit, and film reviews; and obituaries.
