The Indiana University Libraries have a wealth of print resources to aid
you
in your research. At present the Bloomington library has over 6 million
volumes and over 41,000 journal subscriptions, with materials in more
than sixty different languages. This vast quantity of
resources can make it very difficult to know where to begin looking for
the specific information needed.
In order to aid the Medieval and Renaissance researcher, we have create
three print resources information sites.
Reference
Books: Some of the best reference
books for medieval and Renaissance history, divided by subject
matter.
In addition to the bibliographic information, we have included
the title's call number and location (reference room or stacks).
Journals and Indices : Extensive list
of many journals that cover the subject of Medieval and Renaissance
studies. Included with each entry is a list of the
indexes which index
that journal and whether the journal is partially or fully indexed.
Additional information about the
indexes can be found by clicking on their names in the left column.
