Approximately 500,000 photos from the Associated Press collection, going back to 1844. Excellent source for war-related images.

Illustrated magazines. Some late 19th- and early 20-century magazines may be found in the IUB Main Library Research Collections Stacks. Magazines from Great Britain are in AP4 (Woman's World, AP4 .W872; Cassell's Magazine, AP4 .C28; Windsor Magazine, AP4 .W766), from France in AP20, from Germany in AP30 (Fliegende Blaetter, AP30 .F6), from Italy AP 37, and from Slavic countries in the AP 50s (Soviet Woman, AP50 .S682--an English-language propaganda piece). Please be very careful with these materials. They are extremely fragile. You may also wish to consult:
