UN's Universal Declaration of Human Rights Original text from 1948

Amnesty International. Contains Annual Reports 1993-1998. The 1998 Regional Summary on Europe includes European human rights violations, which are also available as Press Releases.

The European Commission's External Relations website includes a section on the EU's Human Rights Policy.

European Centre for Minority Issues ECMI´s aim is to promote interdisciplinary research on various dimensions of minority-majority relations in a European perspective, and to contribute to the improvement of inter-ethnic relations in those parts of Western and Eastern Europe where ethnopolitical tension and conflict prevail. 2001 World Conference against Racism -- 40 Page Decleration and Program of Action - Durban, South Africa (document released Jan 2002.) The Declaration includes measures of prevention, education and protection aimed at the eradication of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance at the national, regional and international levels. It also contains a section on providing effective compensatory and other measures to victims of racism and racial discrimination.

Human Rights Internet - Contains links to southern non-governmental organizations, human rights databases, and the Human Rights Tribune. HRI also carries out human rights research and disseminates the results to concerned institutions and activists.
