About Collins » Activities

Collins is host to programs and events nearly every day, from our annual events planned through our Board of Programmers (BOP) such as the Halloween Dance and Dickens Dinner in the fall and the Viennese Ball and Collinsfest in the spring, to a variety of Q projects put on by incoming students as part of their Q199 classes. In addition, our student groups coordinate events such as fireside chats and professor dinners arranged by our Board of Educational Programming (BOEP) to our Writers Society, ceramics workshops, and theatre events coordinated by Arts Council student coordinators. Whatever your interests, you’ll find your niche at Collins.

Check out our calendar to explore the events we've had this academic year!

Collins Speaks:

Personal stories told by Collinsites in the Coffeehouse that reveal and enlighten. Students develop their stories through CLLC-L 200 with Yara Clüver and get additional support from IU faculty mentors. Program idea brought to Collins through alumna Candace Bertotti.

2016-2017

Each evening began with instructor Yara Clüver introducing the program. You can find her introductions on the Collins vimeo site, by clicking here.
