One option for evening and late-night snacks is unique to Collins: the Cheshire Café. This affordable coffee shop is open nightly from 8:00 p.m. to midnight, and is run by and for Collins residents.
In addition to beverages like espresso, cappuccino, tea, chai, juices, Italian sodas, icy blender drinks, and bottled drinks, great baked goods are also sold.
For those wanting to relax, lots of board games and comfortable seating are on hand in this cozy space. Or you can take your java next door to the Coffeehouse to study or chat with a friend.
The Café staff also program events from time to time, including art exhibits. Individuals or groups of students can apply to hang photos, paintings, drawings, or any other 2D media for two-week shows.
Other programs in the Café have included contests, poker nights, and theme nights with film showings in the nearby Coffeehouse.
