When you become a Collinsite, you make a commitment to learning, community-building, and diversity. The staff from the College of Arts and Sciences collaborates with Residential Programs and Services’ staff to guide you through our approach to living, which fosters intellectual exploration and creative expression, and provides ample leadership opportunities.
Students play a central role in curriculum selection, designing creative experiences, and governing the center. Collins residents can take classes together, join any number of activities, and eat what many consider to be the best food on campus (vegans and vegetarians welcomed).
The Collins LLC is the smallest residence hall on campus, housing about 400 residents each year. About half of these are returning students. The community is composed of freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors, from across the country and around the world, and attracts a wide range of majors.
