Axial Brain Sections
Here are seven axial brain slices obtained with a caudal angulation of 15 degrees to the inferior orbitomeatal line. This is the incidence most often used in CT. Labelled slices and MRIs are  included for comparison.

Coronal Brain Sections
Here are nine coronal brain slices taken at 90 degrees to the inferior orbitomeatal line. Labelled slices and MRIs are included for comparison.

Sagittal Brain Sections
Here is a sagittal brain slice and three parasagittal slices. They are set at a 90 degree angle to the axial sequence. Labelled slices and MRIs are included for comparison.

Spinal Cord Sections
Here are nine slides of spinal cord sections ranging from sacral to cervical level. They are stained with Luxol fast blue counterstained with cresyl echt violet (Kluver-Barrera method), although the images are reduced to grayscale.

Brain Stem Sections
Here are 40 brain stem sections ranging from caudal medulla at the level of decussation to the transition between mesencephalon and diencephalon. They are stained with the Kluver-Barrera method, although the images are reduced to grayscale.
