Aikido

Aikido is a modern Japanese budō, developed by Morihei Ueshiba between the 1920s and the 1960s primarily from Daitō-ryū aiki-jūjutsu. Aikido is known for emphasizing the spiritual and philosophical development of its students. This is a direct result of Ueshiba's background in the Ōmoto-kyō religion. (Widipedia)
