Directions from the north:
From State Road 37 South to Mathers Museum
Exit onto Business 37/College Avenue; proceed on College Avenue south to
7th Street; turn east (left) on 7th Street, proceed on 7th to Indiana
Avenue; turn north (left) on Indiana Avenue. The Museum is on the east
(right) side of Indiana Avenue between 8th and 9th streets.
Directions from the south:
From State Road 37 North to Mathers Museum
Exit onto Business 37/Walnut Street; proceed on Walnut St. north to
7th Street; turn east (right) on 7th Street, proceed on 7th Sreet to
Indiana Avenue; turn north (left) on Indiana Avenue. The Museum is on the
east (right) side of Indiana Avenue between 8th and 9th streets.
Directions from the east:
From State Road 46 West to Mathers Museum
Continue straight; highway becomes 3rd Street; proceed west on 3rd
Street to
Indiana Avenue; turn north (right) on Indiana Avenue, and continue north
on Indiana for five blocks. The Museum is on the east (right) side of
Indiana Avenue between 8th and 9th streets.
Directions from the west:
From State Road 46 East to Mathers Museum
Continue straight; highway becomes 17th Street; at College Avenue, turn
south (right), and proceed south to 7th Street; turn east (left) on 7th
Street, proceed on 7th to Indiana Avenue; turn north (left) on Indiana
Avenue. The Museum is on the east (right) side of Indiana Avenue between
8th and 9th streets.
From State Road 45 East to Mathers Museum
Continue straight; Highway 45 (also known as Bloomfield Road) becomes 2nd
Street in Bloomington; at Henderson Street, turn north (left), and proceed
north; Henderson Street becomes Indiana Avenue after several blocks;
continue north on Indiana Avenue. The Museum is on the east (right) side
of Indiana Avenue between 8th and 9th streets.
From State Road 48 East to Mathers Museum
Continue straight; highway becomes 3rd Street, which then merges with
Kirkwood; continue east on Kirkwood through the downtown square; turn
north (left) onto Indiana Avenue where Kirkwood dead-ends at the IU
campus; continue north on Indiana for three blocks. The Museum is on the
east (right) side of Indiana Avenue between 8th and 9th streets.

Parking:
Passengers can be let out at the entrance to the Museum off the curved
drive leading from Indiana Avenue
Indiana University permit and metered parking is available in the
next block north, on the opposite side of Indiana Avenue, at the McCalla
School facility.
Other visitor parking may be found at the Indiana Memorial Union.
Street parking is restricted on weekdays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm to those
with Zone 4 resident permits. (Street parking is free and ample on
weekends.)
Free public handicap parking spaces are located at 9th Street and Fess
Avenue.
