Hours
The Mathers Museum's exhibit hall and store are open Tuesdays through
Fridays, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 4:30
p.m. The exhibit hall is closed on Mondays, major holidays, and during
Indiana University semester breaks.
Location
The Mathers Museum of World Cultures is located at 416 North Indiana
Avenue, Bloomington, Indiana.
Access
A ramp is located on the corner of Ninth and Fess streets, at the entrance
to the Glenn Black Laboratory of Archaeology, adjoining the Mathers Museum.
On weekends, please ring the buzzer for an attendant to unlock the door.
Reserved parking spaces are available on Ninth Street, between Fess
Street and Indiana Avenue. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs.
Parking and Driving Directions
Metered parking is available at McCalla School parking lot on the corner of
Ninth Street and Indiana Avenue. The parking lot also has spaces designated
for Indiana University "C" stickers. During the weekends free parking is
available on the surrounding streets. For more information, please
