Shaw-Starks Collection

Charles Shaw was a Bloomington photographer active from the 1910s through 1939, when his business was sold to Charles Starks. Photographs in the collection include views of the IU campus, the courthouse square, and the limestone industry in Monroe County. In the late 1930s, Shaw was hired by the Iron Fireman furnace company to take pictures of all of the houses in Bloomington which had their products.
