HOME --> CMVT --> GAIL GINGERLY

Born in Norhter Illinois, Gail A Gingery completed his Bachelor and Master of Arts in Voice Performance at Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolins in 1951 and 1953. Following a two year stint in the army during the end of the korean conflict, he returned to Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina to teach and has continued in that career through the present day. While a student and then as a faculty member he performed in opera and oratorio. He completed his Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Voice erformance at Boston University in 1965, completing the degree with his major teacher David Blair McClosky. He has returned to Boston over many years to attend McClosky seminars, and was priviledged to do therapy at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary a number of times. Dr. Gingery was for twenty-five years Chairman, Division of Music at Bob Jones University, and serves as head of the Department of Voice there.
