Dian Lawler-Johnson, a native of Montevallo, Alabama, earned degrees in vocal performance from Converse College and the University of Illinois. She has taught voice for over 24 years in universities, performing arts schools, and her private studio. She was previously on the voice faculty of Jacksonville State University, the University of Alabama, Truett-McConnell College, and Dunwoody School for the Arts. Ms. Lawler-Johnson's performing experience includes leading roles sung with the Lake George Opera Festival, Brevard Music Center, Southern Regional Opera, Goldovsky Opera Institute, and AIMS in Graz, Austria. She currently serves as Adjunct Instructor at Shorter College and maintains
a private studio in Roswell, Georgia. |
