Magen Slesinger earned a BS in Music Education with a concentration in voice from Rhode Island College in 1997 and a Master of Education in Creative Arts and Learning from Lesley College in 2002. She has performed with many different choruses, including the Ocean State Light Opera Company, The Providence Singers, and the Holiday Chorus for the Boston Pops.

Magen is an elementary school music teacher in Westwood, MA where she teaches general music, chorus, and drama to students grades K-5; she also has a private voice studio.
