- For physicians, nurses, dentists, and PhD clinical scientists
- For fellows, junior faculty investigators, or others with career interest in clinical or translational research
- Combination of course work and practical research experience
- Master of Science or Graduate Certificate in Clinical or Translational Research
- Formal training in:
- Clinical Research Methods or Tools & Techniques in Translational Research (3 cr)
- Biostatistics (3 cr)
- Grant Writing (3 cr)
- Clinical Trials or Quantitative Translational Research (3 cr)
- Responsible Conduct of Research (3 cr)
- Electives (6-8 cr)
- Mentored Clinical/Translational Research (7-9 cr)
- Program supported through the National Institute of Health Indiana CTSI Award
- Does not provide trainee salaries/stipends
- All MS students have:
- Individual meetings twice a year with Program Director
- Regular meetings with a Primary Mentor plus a three-member Advisory Committee that has five formal meetings over two years
- More than 250 faculty mentors are involved in the CITE program
