A Welcome Message

Welcome to the Center for University Ministry, a University Community of Faith.

A member of the Center's Ministry Team once said, "The Center operates out of questions more that out of declarations." What he meant is that people find here a place to express creative doubts about their faith, life, and vocation. It is a place to safely grow and change at your own pace and in your own way.

Of course there are some basic declarations made at the Center:

• Yes, there is but one God who has breathed into all of creation a challenge to live life to the full with love, compassion, and responsibility.
• Yes, there is salvation and reunion with God made available to all through Christ.
• Yes, there is a Presence of God that is with us in all times of joy, trauma, hope, and endurance.

Whatever may be your questions and whatever may be your foundations of faith, we believe you will find others at the Center for University Ministry trekking along a similar trail as yourself.
