Expressions: Dr. King's Dream for Humanity

Thursday, January 17, 2013, at 7 p.m.
Buskirk-Chumley Theatre

The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration Committee at Indiana University has partnered with the Office of Diversity Education, Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., the Union Board, Black Graduate Student Association, and Latina/o Graduate Student Association to present an event to highlight talented IU Bloomington students. Students will creatively express their interpretation of Dr. King's dream for humanity. Actors, dancers, musicians, and artists (painters, photographers) of all kinds are sought to participate in the student showcase on Thursday, January 17, 2013.

Any IU Bloomington student interested in participating should complete the art submission form or performance art submission form and deliver it to the Office of the Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Multicultural Affairs in Bryan Hall 115 or e-mail the submission to mlkjr@indiana.edu.

Performance auditions are Thursday, November 1, and Friday, November 2. E-mail mlkjr@indiana.edu to sign up for an audition spot.

Art submission deadline is Friday, December 14, at 5 p.m..
