Revolution: Emergent Theater Inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

This emergent theater project brings together diverse students, both undergraduate and graduate, from Indiana University Bloomington as well as students from Ivy Tech Bloomington. Student participants explore issues of diversity, identity, social justice and multiculturalism through weekly educational workshops and master classes by guest artists, staff and faculty. Emergent Theatre student leader alumni facilitate rehearsals, and student participants create their own pieces toward designing their own final show. Emergent theatre is a creative and powerful production that highlights student voices, concerns, hopes and dreams.
