Housing

As Bloomington is primarily a college town, many students leave at the end of spring semester.  This means that summer students can often find an apartment to sub-let for the summer sessions.  Students should contact private housing agencies and renters directly and as soon as possible about sub-letting opportunities.  Residential Programs and Services maintain information on summer campus housing at http://www.rps.indiana.edu/housingsummer.cfml, as well as guest housing at http://www.rps.indiana.edu/guesthousing.cfml.  Information on Summer 2009 housing can also be found at http://summer.indiana.edu/index.php?nodeID=housing, , as well as information on staying in the Biddle Hotel and Conference Center in the Indiana Memorial Union at http://www.imu.indiana.edu/hotel/. Many students find off-campus summer sub-lets through The Indiana Daily Student newspaper. Classifieds can be found here, http://www.idsnews.com/classifieds/.

Please contact west@indiana.edu if you would like additional assistance with housing. The WEST center can help facilitate the off-campus housing search by forwarding vacancy and search notices.
