18-20 hours per week. This includes evening programs, conference attendance, writing and editing, working with undergraduate students and
planning and executing programs. Several skills are extremely useful. In addition to having superb computer skills, the successful applicant(s)
must possess excellent communication skills--both oral and written. The best applicants are those whose knowledge of Africana history and
culture has been nourished with academic and/or real-world pursuits. Preference will be given to work study eligible IU graduate students.
