Help for Log Information Report

This PHP script analyzes monthly log file in the form of "npo_yyyymm.txt." Most of this script was written in basic functions without objects but PHP 4.0 or higher compiler may be need for proper operation.

Summary Statistics

The left of the menu section presents summary statistics such as cummulative access count and average daily access (the number of accesses per day since the baseline day).

Menu Bar

You may quickly move, by clicking a category, to the section in which you are interested. By default, analyses of IP address, remote host, and web access are suppressed; click "IP", "Host", or "Access" to request corresponding analysis. If you want to get monthly statistics for all month available, click "All Month."

Month Selection

Select year and month you are interested in and then click "Go." "Log File" will show you the log file of the month you select. "Help" will show you this file.

Number in Parentheses

The number in navy in parentheses of section title indicates the number of accesses, given the condition you provide. You may check selection bar, weekly section, or daily section to know the condition.

In "Monthly"

You may see weekly or daily information by clicking a week or a day of interest.

In "All Month"

Click a month of a year from the table to get information of the month.
