1) Read the webpage of an internship before you visit, email, or otherwise ask questions.  Any webpage links I am aware of are given below.

2) Remember to RSVP before you show up for an open house. You should provide your name, email address, phone number, surface mail address, and DPD name on your message. The DI director might want to contact you before you arrive with important information, such as parking and specific directions.

3) Not all DIs have formal open houses. But most encourage students to visit if possible. So contact the director of an internship you are serious about even if that DI is not on this list, or if you cannot make the formal open house listed. Perhaps special arrangements can be made. At the end of this table there is a section for DIs that request students to make their own arrangements to visit (under the heading Open Dates).

Upon satisfactory completion of the CPD, graduates are issued a verification statement that confirms their eligibility to sit for the registration examination for dietitians.  Admission to the CPD is restricted since only a limited number of students can be accommodated.
