| Teachers in the Kokomo area will be able to enhance their curriculum by partnering with businesses, thanks to $39,760 in funding from the Indiana Commission for Higher Education. The funding continues the VISION program at IUK. During a three-week summer session teachers get hands-on opportunities to observe how the latest technology works in business and industry.
The sessionsgives the teachers an understanding of how companies use the very subject matter taught in the classroom and an opportunity to improve their curricula to make students more employable.
