IU Bloomington Parking Operations and Campus Bus Service are offering free bus passes to all full-time appointed faculty and staff that own a current A, C or disabled parking permit.
The passes are ideal for walkers who may not wish to withstand the entire day on campus by foot, or for those who wish to park their cars and go to cross-campus destinations without having to move their vehicles.
The plan is meant to relieve traffic congestion and ease parking woes and is being funded from parking permit revenue, with Parking Operations paying a fee to Campus Bus Service, based on ridership.
