| The Indiana University Task Force to Review Non-Academic Administrative Services was formed during the spring of 2000 by IU President Myles Brand to review how non-academic and administrative services are delivered on the Bloomington and Indianapolis campuses. The ultimate goal is to assure that those services are provided as efficiently and effectively as possible.
The review has moved into another phase with implementation recommendations, which are now available at the Web site below. Work teams were appointed by the task force to formulate implementation strategies.
The work of four of the teams—Human Resources, Purchasing/Warehouse Services, Auxiliary Enterprises, and Finance—is included in the implementation report. The teams worked with Competitive Government Strategies LLC, an Indianapolis consulting firm. The consultant’s role was to facilitate the process and support the work teams in fulfilling their charges.
Judith Palmer, IU vice president and chief financial officer, has chaired the task force since its inception.
Background information about the task force also is available online.
