Hoosiers for Higher Education will sponsor its annual Statehouse
visit Monday, Feb. 23, in Indianapolis. The day will begin at
10:30 a.m. at the Westin Hotel on Capital Avenue with a legislative
briefing regarding funding of higher education in Indiana.
IU staff, faculty, alumni, students, parents and friends are invited to attend the event, which will include a luncheon, a trip to the Statehouse and an opportunity to interact with state legislators who are at the state capitol for the short session. IU President Adam Herbert will be in attendance.
Those wishing
to attend may register online, and are asked to do so by Wednesday
(Feb. 18). Transportation from the various campuses is being
