Indiana University is 'Making IT Happen!'

Spring awareness campaign to focus on the IT resources supporting learning and life at IU

By Susan Williams

"Making IT Happen"' is a day-long fair designed to increase awareness of the information technology resources, innovations and support tools that benefit IU's nearly 100,000 students, as well as faculty and staff. Demonstrations, panel discussions, information on IT employment at IU, and opportunities to share feedback are all scheduled.

"We're listening to what students tell us in our user surveys," said Garland Elmore, associate vice president for Teaching and Learning Information Technologies.

"Making IT Happen!" is offered by University Information Technology Services, with the support of sponsors including Apple, CareersINsite, Cingular, Dell, HP, Microsoft, NETg and Verizon.
