Workshop explores Latin America through art and music

Elementary and middle school teachers who would like to present a unit that explores Latin America through art and music can get some techniques during a one-day workshop on April 12 at the William Hammond Mathers Museum on the Bloomington campus. The workshop, “Exploring Latin America through Art and Music,” is sponsored by the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies, the Kellogg Institute at Notre Dame University and the Mathers.

Teachers will have an opportunity to pick up some music and art activities to take back to their classrooms, as well as an increased awareness of Latin America. Lunch will be provided, and a registration opportunity is available on the Web site.
