| Valentine’s Day was two days ago, and if the occasion was not commemorated in a way that pleased you, send a ‘not-so-sweet’ valentine by E-mail to the object of your disaffection, compliments of this Lilly Library on-line exhibit. Contrary to popular thought, Victorians had a sense of humor, and although love was the dominant theme of their February card giving, comic and even insulting topics were also common.
