Bloomington Biennial 2005: Faculty Artists from IU’s Hope School of Fine Arts exhibition is a sampling of contemporary work by 36 faculty artists. The exhibit showcases art from IU’s prestigious Department of Studio Art. The lineup includes paintings, prints, drawings, sculptures, photographs, ceramics, hand-made artist’s books, metalwork, textiles and digital art
Special events marking the opening include a panel discussion and opening reception:
• Panel discussion: “Outside the Metropolis: Creating and Promoting the Visual Arts in Small Town America.” Thursday, March 24 (5:45 – 7 p.m.) at the Hope School of Fine Arts, Room 015
• Opening reception: March 24 (7–8:30 p.m.) at Thomas T. Solley Atrium, first floor, IU Art Museum
