Bliss works in oil and acrylic paints and specializes in portraiture. She also does interior and exterior murals, and has done commissioned work for both the IUPUI campus and the Indiana Pacers. She is an IU East alumna and adjunct professor of fine arts.

Cruse-Griffin’s mixed media art includes bold colors, shapes and patterns that tell stories of love, pride, visual culture and spirit of community. Her work has been on display at the Kellie Rae Theiss Gallery in Minneapolis, the Richmond Art Museum and the IUPUI Cultural Arts Gallery. She is a previous winner of the Whitewater Valley Annual Art Competition, sponsored by IU East.
