| Cinergy has made a $10,000 pledge to IU Kokomo
in support of the campus’s new bachelor of arts in health and aging
degree program, which begins this fall. Cinergy will contribute $2,500
per year through January of 2005, helping to cover the degree program’s
start up costs, recruiting, marketing and curricular expenses.
The first of its kind in the state, the bachelor’s degree in health and aging is designed for students pursuing executive, administrative and managerial positions in service industries for the elderly. The degree will provide multidisciplinary perspectives of gerontology-related issues from the fields of nursing, psychology, humanities, business, public affairs and sociology. http://www.iuk.edu/external-relations/ocm/news/jul02/cinergy.html
