Former chancellor honored with Endowment

Richardson

While leadership at IU Southeast has been passed on, to Chancellor Sandra Patterson-Randles, the legacy of F.C. Richardson, who recently retired as the campus leader, will live on through the F.C. Richardson Honor Scholars Endowment.

The Paul W. Ogle Foundation Inc. has committed $200,000 as a challenge grant to create the program. In turn, IU Southeast must raise $300,000, which will also take the form of matching grants to other contributors, and has already received $25,000 from an individual donor. The Harrison County Community Foundation has agreed to match every contribution to the program. Richardson served as chancellor of IU Southeast for six years and retired on June 28.
