Indianapolis artists on display at IU Kokomo gallery

Abstract paintings, prints and sculpture by Indianapolis artists Ed Funk and Kevin Leslie will be on display in the IU Kokomo Art Gallery through Sunday, Sept. 1. “This is the first time for the gallery to feature large-scale sculpture,” said Minda Douglas, gallery director. “The paintings and prints of Ed Funk contain many complex layers of color in an abstract format. Leslie’s sculptures in marble, steel and aluminum use similar curved lines, making the two bodies of work very complimentary.”

Funk owns Dolphin Papers and the Murphy Building in Fountain Square, Indianapolis. The complex houses artist studios and galleries in an arts hub in the city.
