| Children of the Bloomington community are the beneficiaries of two clinics on the campus. The Child Advocacy Clinic in the Law School provides students who are appointed guardians ad litem by the court to look after the best interests of children in stressful situations like contested custody and visitation in divorce cases. Students conduct interviews and pick up other skills in activities related to the cases.
Over in the School of Education there is the Institute for Child Study where children and their families can get help with learning or behavior problems. The children may receive psychoeducational evaluations, individualized sessions and classroom consultations.
