Kelley School J301'ers raise funds for Bloomington kids

I-Core students on the Bloomington campus had an opportunity to put theory into practice when they staged the “Little 5K 4 Kids” run/walk during July. Clinical Assistant David Rubenstein challenged his J301 Strategic Management class to come up with a project that would benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Bloomington. Students donated $10 each to give a jump-start to the race. That initial $2,300 went a long way toward such needed items as shirts, water, EMT assistance and course rental, and the class solicited help from local businesses. It was the first-ever fund-raising event sponsored by the J301 summer students at the IU Kelley School of Business.
