Louisiana's John Breaux at IU Southeast Sept. 28

Former U.S. Sen. John Breaux of Louisiana is scheduled to appear on the IU Southeast campus on Wednesday, Sept. 28, at the Stem Concert Hall in the Ogle Center. The lecture begins at 10 a.m. EDT.

The three-term Democrat retired in 2004. His lecture is titled "An Insider's View on the Major Issues of the Day." The lecture is being made possible through the support of the Hon. Carlton Sanders and Sue Sanders of Lanesville. The lecture is being hosted by the School of Business and the Office of the Chancellor.

As vice chair of President Bush's Tax Reform Panel, Breaux' topics will include comments on corporate governance, tax reform and economic development, Medicare and globalization.
