IU Bloomington freshmen and their families shared a picnic lunch under the trees between Woodburn Hall and Bryan House on Aug. 24 as part of Welcome Week festivities. What’s it like to be a freshman in the 21st century? A cultural anthropologist took her sabbatical and found that the life of a freshman is hard work. Her book was recently published by the Cornell University Press.
