The Story: IU officials reported a record $477 million in research funding last year (see story), raising more research money than Purdue, Notre Dame, Ball State and Indiana State universities combined.

The Headline: "IUSB project updates Administration Building"

The Story: IU South Bend completed updates to the Administration Building. The main floor has new carpeting, vertical blinds, ceiling tiles and fresh paint. Many offices were relocated. The admissions, registrar, financial aid and international students offices now share a service counter just off the main lobby.
