Michael Uslan, who received his law degree in Bloomington in 1976, is president and producer of Branded Entertainment. He returned to Bloomington this week for the opening of the Michael Uslan Comic Book Collection, which runs through Dec. 17 at the IU Lilly Library. The Batman films producer met with students from the School of Law-Bloomington earlier this week to talk about his career and participate in classes. He also gave a public lecture at Alumni Hall of the Indiana Memorial Union. Uslan’s gift to the Lilly Library includes 25,000 DC, Marvel, Dark Horse and CrossGen comics, which he pledged to add to every year. “Alumni who haven’t yet seen Batman Begins should pay attention to the Wayne Foundation building in Gotham City,” said Leonard Fromm, dean of students and alumni at the School of Law. “Uslan showed his school spirit by subtly incorporating the IU logo into the ‘W’ on the top of the building.”
