IU faculty throughout the state have been chosen to receive SBC Fellow Awards for innovation in the application of information technology to teaching and learning. The fifth round of awards totals $176,280 for 14 projects.
The technologies proposed are as diverse as the academic content, including the distance delivery of a science lab, games to promote collaborative learning, hand-held computers for data collection and analysis, animated tutorials, online skills placement and student-programmed robots.
