A documentary chronicling the production of IU Ballet Theater’s
The Nutcracker was filmed in 2001 and will be featured
during the WTIU fund drive. Sugar Plum Dreams: The Making
of The Nutcracker won an Emmy, and WTIU airings are scheduled
Dec. 6 at 10 a.m., Dec. 25 at 8 p.m. and Dec. 28 at 1 p.m. In
addition to these times, many stations nationwide have chosen
to highlight Sugar Plum Dreams in their holiday programming.
