Trustees approve Research III

Architectural rendering

Building plans for the IU School of Medicine's Research Institute III facility were approved by the IU Trustees on Dec. 3. Located between the Cancer Research Institute and Research Institute II on the Indianapolis campus, the structure will house labs dedicated to innovative and life-saving therapies, especially in cancer treatment. The building will contain approximately 230,000 gross square feet. Groundbreaking is expected some time in 2005.
