Global experiences are high on the “to-do” list for many students on the campuses of Indiana University. At IU Bloomington, where this photo was taken at Ballantine Hall, 33 students received Fulbright grants for the 2008-2009 academic year — a 65 percent increase from the year before. IU's Fulbright grant recipients will carry out the projects they have prepared with guidance from their professors and in conjunction with partner institutions in countries around the world. The Fulbright U.S. Student Program for Graduate Study or Research Abroad is the best-known source of overseas study grants in the nation.
