‘Idea cities’ and the arts
Carnegie Mellon’s Richard Florida caused
quite a stir last year with his analysis of the growing role of creativity
in economic development. He’ll be speaking in Bloomington Wednesday.
Next Friday is the official beginning of Bloomington’s 19th "Arts
Week," a showcase of creativity that extends well into February.
